Pumpkin Pickin'

Happy Halloween! On Saturday, The Seatons and The Corums went to a pumpkin patch! We were so excited to take Aiden out to get his first pumpkin! We didn't expect that he would be too enthusiastic about it and Will actually made the comment on the way out there that "you know he will probably sleep through this whole thing, right?" And.... he was right! Aiden slept through the ENTIRE thing. Only woke up for just a minute to take a swallow of juice and then he was back out! Once we were done with the hayride and picking pumpkins, he woke up, naturally! We had a good time out there, but once Aiden is a little older and can "play" at things like this, it will be ALOT more fun! On Sunday we got out all of our pumpkin carving supplies and got to work...Aiden (again) wasn't terribly enthused and slept :) But as usual, woke up at about the time we were done to see the finished product. I guess I should enjoy my last year or so of pumpkin carving while I can, here in the next few years, I have a good feeling I will be chasing a little boy around the house who has a fist full of "pumpkin guts"! :)
